Bar + arcade in LA, such a fun concept! 82 is located in Arts District, but a bit non descrip so it can be easy to miss. Located on the corner of 3rd St & 4th Pl, building is a colorful artwork of purple and blues. Bar: They have alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Seating: plenty of outdoor seating to drink and chat Arcade: 2 rooms; one with various 80s arcade games including Simpsons, Ninja Turtles, Mario Bros, Duck Hunt, etc. 1 coin per play Other room has retro pinball machines. 2 coins per play you get 3 balls There's a live DJ when we went, giving it such a fun low key party vibe! Tip: there's no atm and you'll need cash to buy the coins. If you don't have cash, you can go to the bar and tell them you want to buy coins and can pay with credit card

Eightytwo is hands-down one of the most fun spots in the Arts District! This bar is a total throwback with its vintage arcade games and pinball machines that bring out the inner kid in everyone. Add in a live DJ every day and a fantastic bar, and you've got a recipe for an unforgettable night out. The vibe here is lively and energetic, making it a great spot for a date night, hanging with friends, or just letting loose. The bar is top-notch, and my absolute favorite drink was the watermelon margarita. Made with fresh-pressed watermelon juice and high-quality ingredients, it's refreshing, perfectly balanced, and honestly one of the best margaritas I've ever had. Pro tip: Come early if you want to snag a machine because it can get crowded later in the evening. And if you're a pinball fan, prepare to be amazed by the variety they have! Between the nostalgic games, killer drinks, and the DJ spinning great tunes, Eightytwo is a must-visit in the Arts District. Whether you're here to rack up high scores or just chill with a drink in hand, you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to come back for another watermelon margarita and more pinball action!

Decently priced drinks (for LA). The games are cheap and surprisingly they have modern pinball games based on various media. Place is chill and they have a patio area to hang with friends. Bartender is pretty friendly and on some nights they have a DJ.

This a fun barcade in Little Tokyo! The game prices were more affordable than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. The bar here also makes drinks that are delicious and quite strong. There is a little bit for everyone here. There's a louder game area with a DJ, a quiet outdoor space, and then a back room with mostly pinball machines. The game areas can get a bit crowded, but the vibe was very courteous and not aggressive. Definitely check out EightyTwo for a fun barcade hang!

Fun for video games and pinball. Good for beer but dont recommend cocktails. Fun with friends. Some seating outside to take a break from the games.

I am a pinball junkie and 82 has a bunch to play. Located in the Little Tokyo area of DTLA, you can find street parking, show your ID at the door, exchange cash for tokens, grab a drink then pick your favorite 80s game to play. Plenty of seating to take a break from ghosts chasing you, or battling in a karate tournament haha!

This is still my favourite barcade in town, and I've tried most of 'em. They found the right blend of attractive L.A. bar and retro fun. The cocktails are themed (my favourite is the Princess Peach), and the games are vintage machines (not rows of generic boxes on which any game can be loaded, as was the offering of the now-defunct One Up in Sherman Oaks). I'd come on a weeknight - it gets packed on weekends.

Super fun place for a night out. So many different arcade games and pinball machines to choose from. We went on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy but that is to be expected. Even though it was busy it was still easy to hop on a game or even get a drink. All of the bartenders were attentive and quick when it came to taking orders. The drinks themselves were really well made. The Watermelon Margarita was probably the best thing we ordered. There is also a lot of open space for people to chill and have conversation in the outside patio area. One of my favorite places to come to in the Arts District, and I am looking forward to my next stop.

Nothing more nostalgic for the millennial in me like a good old arcade bar. This place gets crowded at night, but early in the day is easy playing. Trade in some cash for tokens and you have the options to play video games or pinball. They serve cocktails and beers as well. Good service, clean, and well-kept!
